Frequently Asked Questions
No, absolutely not. The show emphasizes art that focuses on beauty, goodness, and truth. However, the truth is that we live in a diverse world that contains a lot of brokenness and hurt. We can appreciate beauty in diversity, and in beliefs which are different than ours. In addition, honest art which shows darkness and hurt can be a contrast which helps the light shine brighter. We do ask that art brought to or performed at the show fall within certain guidelines, primarily because children will be present.
We believe that modern society needs to grow in creativity, community and spirituality to survive impending self-destruction. By offering a place for self-expression, creative exploration, and encouragement of talent, we believe people will find not only self understanding, but understanding of others, and ultimately connection with God.
