| Ploughman |
Ploughman is Northern California's answer for psychodelic- americana- soul, a sound shaded with introspective undertones and improvisation. Eric Morrison Smith sings with a strong soulful vocal, plays rhythm and lead guitar and writes the songs and words. Then the band reworks the songs through time together. Bill Fanara plays rhythm guitar and sings background vocals. Bill adds a tasteful, ambient style with a great understanding of space in music. ploughmanband.com |

| Streuth |
Streuth is a local Santa Cruz 3 piece blues group playing Chicago, Texas, London and contemporary blues. The bands style doesn't fit into a single catogory and whether they are playing older chicago blues or originals it's all played with feel and passion in Streuth's own unique, fresh and modern way. But just because they are a blues band doesn't mean they can't rock it out and get everyone up and dancing. Streuth is made of up relocated Canadian Mark Howe on guitar and vocals, Marty Thompsom a long time Santa Cruz resident on bass and vocals and Matt Wolfe another long time Santa Cruz resident on drums. Mark, Marty and Matt are all avid blues fans and are most happy when they are playing the music they love for audiences in the Bay Area.
